Had to google it. They're reusable?

I'm afraid of those things. I'm too paranoid that it will leak, or that it would give me an infection, or that it would spill/drop when I took it out.
Tampons are so easy. Yank, flush, goodbye!

Just the idea of them make my skin crawl, but everyone I know who's tried it said that it's great and that they are never going back to pads/tampons.
I just can't bring myself to try. |

AudaciousAudrey wrote: No, it's not. Instead softcup is non reusable. And it looks completely different from the Diva cup. With the Instead softcup, it doesn't have the stem like the Diva cup so you could have sex with it in. When I first started using it, I did spill it, but I was over the toilet, so it didn't splatter all over the floor or anything. |

I just Google imaged the Instead cup. It looks so big.

When you squeeze it in to insert it, it's like the size of a tampon. When it's inside, you don't even feel it, I swear.

If I ever used them I'd still have to wear a pad, I'd be so paranoid!

I'm glad some people like them, but there is nothing about them that sounds good to me. I'm so grossed out by the idea of having to reach that far in
and try to pull something out! I have enough trouble with tampons. I also tend to have really bad cramps and ache a lot in that area, so I don't think I
could bring myself to do it.

I have really short/small fingers, so I am afraid I wouldn't be able to reach it if I tried one

I LOVE my diva cup. It's so comfortable, and only leaks a bit if I'm on a heavy flow day (1 or 2 days). Then I wear a washable liner with it. I never
liked tampons because I found them frequently uncomfortable and always leaking.
It's cheaper in the long run and I'm not tossing a bunch of tampons and pads away every month. |
