I'm going to start doing yoga in the morning. Should I eat before? I think I might get sick if I do?

I'm not sure about regular yoga, I do Bikram which is the hot stuff and they recommend not eating 3 hours before a class. It might be different for other
yoga types though.

You can't do Yoga on an empty stomach. At least have a granola bar or something.

ANY form of exercise, you can't do on an empty stomach.
And I had Yoga as my first period class in high school, lol. |

It depends on you, really. Some days I really feel like I need a little something to get me through, especially if I wake up hungry. Other days, I just have
some water and that tides me over until after. If your stomach gets upset easily, wait until after.

Yeah, don't eat anything heavy for at least 90 minutes-2 hours before your practice. Something very light should be ok like a cereal bar or a piece of
fruit.

Yoga is supposed to be done on an empty stomach. Nothing for at least 90 minutes beforehand. I've been practicing yoga for 15 years and that has always
been the recommendation from every instructor I've had.

I don't eat anything heavy within 2 hours of doing yoga, but last time I did it on an empty stomach, I almost passed out so now I usually eat some fruit a
bit before.

Yeah, definitely don't eat. You'll cramp up and want to kill yourself.

All that upside-down time does NOT work for me with food in my stomach.
