Then leave him be. The worst he can do is leave negative feedback which DOES suck but you can leave a comment under that telling your side. He won't get
his money back unless he sends the card. He's shit out of luck in that department.

why does he say it's "non-transferrable"? Is there more to it than just being limited to June?

I did call Morton's in Minneapolis to check about the card. They said they'll "check their system" to see that the person using the card, is
the person that originally receved it (i.e. my dad) I don't really see how they can do that though, considering there's no name or anything on the gift
card. It's just a regular old gift card with the card number and shit on the back of it. All they'd probably do is double check to make sure that the
person using it, has a birthday in the month of June.
And on that note, I got a gift card from Victoria's Secret for my birthday last year. Could only be used the month of my birthday (March) but I used it in February and they didn't care.

UPDATE:
Morton's in Chicago said anybody (regardless of when their birthday is) can use the gift card, as long as it is before June 30th, 2009. |

Paypal wont give his money back unless he sends the card back (as long as you can prove you sent it to him in the first place)
So tell him to stop making threats about getting a refund. He sounds like a psycho

Did you point out to him where you mentioned in the listing that it had to be used in June?

He's now telling me that he doesn't believe me, and the policy at the Indianapolis Morton's (which is apparently where he is going to use it at) may be "different." I told him to call the Indy Morton's, and see if they'll honor the card. |

haha why's he so serious?? "taking it to another level" and the "consequences of your sins". geez. it's freaking ebay. If he does
file a dispute with paypal I've heard they can't do anything if there's no money in your paypal account. So if you have the $100 in there still you
can transfer it to your bank account and they won't be able to give him back his money until you are ready to. I'm not sure if that's true but
that's what I've heard.

I was always under the assumption that, if the funds are not available in your PayPal account, they can take it from your checking/savings (provided your PayPal account is "confirmed" with one of those)?? Eh. At any rate, this guy is a moron. Sometimes I really, really like eBay.... other times, not. I've had a bad "selling" streak on eBay lately. I sold two similar things a couple of weeks ago, and shipped them at the same time.... I accidentally got the items mixed up. I very quickly contacted each of the buyers, explaining the situation, and paid for their return shipping. The one buyer was cool about it, and understood the situation. The other buyer, on the other hand, was a douche about it.... wanted me to send him an extra $10.00 reimbursement (in addition to the $5.00 for return shipping) because of the mix-up. He was pissed because he wanted to wear the item (MN Twins jersey) to a Twins game that weekend, and didn't get to because of my mix-up.

My PP account is about -$900.00 but they haven't taken any money from me (yet). They decided to refund for a computer when we said no to the refund so
fuck them. They'll get their money when we have it.
eBay and PayPal are shit now. It's 99.9% for the buyer, .1% for the seller. They suck. They NEVER side with sellers. |
