"Here's The Story" in one sitting. I got it at the library tonight and just finished it. I don't even know what made me pick it up, but it
was definitely an interesting read. I don't think I will ever look at Marcia Brady the same way again.

Is it true she and Eve Plumb had a thing for each other?

^ I think Eve played Jan. Is it a good book? I've thought about picking it up.

Maureen speaks about her close relationship with Eve, it was much more like sisters though. She does speak of going to lesbian bars etc. but it has nothing to
do with Eve. I thought the book was pretty good. As a kid I watched The Brady Bunch a lot, so it was something I was interested in reading. I noticed she
thanks everyone from TBB, including Robert Reed but not Eve Plumb.

I might read it. I am getting into reading these types of books. I liked Tori Spelling's.
I admit, I kinda want to read Marie Osmond's book, with her nutty ass. |

I remember the TV film that was made 9 years ago about what the cast were really like.

I got it from a site called The Audiobook Emporium.
http://rapidshare.com/fil...re_s_the_Story.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/fil...re_s_the_Story.part2.rar Here's the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Edition: Abridged by Maureen McCormick Maureen McCormick ©2008 HarperCollins Publishers ©2008 by Maureen McCormick Publisher: HarperCollins Imprint: HarperAudio Subject(s): Biography & Autobiography Nonfiction Number of parts: 5 Duration: 5 hours, 58 minutes ISBN: 9780061713439 Release date: Oct 14, 2008 mp3 Marcia Brady, eldest daughter on television's The Brady Bunch, had it all. But what viewers didn't know about the always sunny, perfect Marcia was that off-screen, her real-life counterpart, Maureen McCormick was living a very different - and not-so-wonderful - life. Maureen tells the shocking and inspirational true story of the beloved teen and the woman she became. Maureen takes us behind-the-scenes of America's favorite television family. But the real story begins after The Brady Bunch ended. Maureen found herself tangled in a fast-paced, drug-fueled, Hollywood existence that ultimately lead to the biggest battle of her life. There is no question: Maureen McCormick is a survivor. Here's the Story is the empowering, engaging, shocking, and emotional tale of Maureen McCormick's courageous struggle over adversity and her lifelong battle to come to terms with the idea of perfection - and herself. |

The book is checked out at my library but I requested it to be held when it gets returned. I haven't listened to an audiobook since I was little. Is it
Maureens voice reading the book to you?

Yes, Maureen is reading the book.
I like her voice. She sounds just like her old self. Her voice hasn't aged any. Audiobooks aren't just for kids. |
