So my friend and I were at the Gym this evening and she was really quiet so finally I asked what is wrong. She told me she was going to check her email today
and her boyfriend accidently left his email logged in. She was going to sign out and she noticed that there was a "Welcome Email" from an online
dating site. So as curious as she was she clicked on it and saw that it was a registration email. She proceeded to then log into this dating site with his
information and saw his profile said he was looking for someone to hang out with and was listed as single. She was freaking out as she didn't know if she
should approach him on the topic cause then he will turn around and get back she was snooping or should she just lay low as according to his profile he
hasn't contacted anyone.
I told her I had no clue cause thats a sticky situation to be in, but I know you girls are smart and full of advice. |

It would be over either way. What's the difference how she found out?

He will lie to her about it and say he was looking for someone or doing it for a friend or something equally stupid but she will believe it anyway because she
wants to believe it. The best thing for her to do is just break up with him. He's already unhappy whether he's discussed it with her or not, and
he's clearly not trustworthy. He will just lie to her and try to manipulate the situation so that she feels like the bad guy for even glancing at his email
in the first place.

Make a new e-mail and ask him out. If he replies and goes to meet the "date". He's in for a real surprise.

Kick him the curb immediately. If he is looking, he obviously intends to buy.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine. She confronted her fiance, he admitted it, and they still got married.

I don't see the sticky situation. She should probably try to begin her healing process and get ready to tell him to GTFO out of her life. But...if
she's gonna listen to his excuses and allow him to turn it around on her, then she could always go that route.

I would set up a fake account and try to get in contact with him to see if he takes the bait

She could have a friend/you sign up for the site and claim the friend just happened to "find" him. That's kind of just adding to the lies though.
Either way she needs to dump him. |
