I made the cupcakes tonight and the icing SUCKED. It would not thicken at all and I definitely followed the recipe exactly! I ended up just putting oreo crumbs
into a regular tub of icing and mixing it up. Still very yummy though!

Do you use a whole oreo cookie at the bottom or just the chocolate half of an oreo cookie
