Those look amazing. I hate to go to the store and buy $20 worth of ingredients when I won't eat but like, 2 of them though! But I really want to make them!

When you say a box of Oreos, do you mean those single boxes of Oreos or the bag of Oreos with the three columns inside?

I'm definitely going to make those. I've been looking around for an easy yet unique cupcake recipe for a cookout I'm going to in a few weeks. I
think those will be great, because who doesn't like oreos?!

I just visited your blog and saw the bottom of the cupcake. How creative and delicious that looks. Now I need an Oreo fix

Ooo those look super yummy. I'm definitely going to try to make them.
What do you use to pipe your frosting? Do you use parchment paper and an icing tip or something else? |

On the blog you mention that your batter was "too thick." I ask what consistency should the batter be? I'm allergic to eggs so I have to do the
diet coke/box recipe and if you've ever done that, you know the batter is really thick. Almost like mousse, but it cooks ok. I'm wondering if that
would be ok for me to substitute in this recipe.

I've made those cupcakes before (not with a chocolate cake) and they were okay but not my favorite cupcakes I've ever made. The cookie on the bottom is
great if you are taking cupcakes away from home, because it really helps them hold together better.

PrncssNikki wrote:Actually, my batter was almost exactly like the typical 'diet coke and cake' batter. I just had trouble with it b/c it was crawling up the mixer and not getting thoroughly mixed. I'm sure it'll be just fine to substitute it, the batter was just a pain in the butt for me! |

Do they make Oreos that little, or is that a big cupcake?

Could you post the recipe for the cupcake cones? I've always wanted to make them, but have no idea how.
