I would imagine someone with iron deficiency anemia would just be tired all the time.

Tired all the time. I'm anemic and I just feel run down most the time, no matter if I've gotten a good nights sleep. Its not every day though which
makes it more annoying because it's so inconsistent

Yeah, pretty much all the time if my anemia is playing up, however I usually find it harder to get up in the mornings when my blood is down.
