I'm gonna start shopping there a lot more and need some ideas on good items. A topic like this was made a bit ago but I can't find it for some reason.
Anyway, any recommendations? Specific items would be great...instead of just "cheese," tell me a specific kind

Trader Joe's has these amazing frozen dinner bowls. I remember the pad thai was like, incredible. I wish I had a TJ's around here.

It sounds lame, but their frozen corn is the best corn ever. Besides fresh from the farm.
Oh oh oh and they have MINI peanut butter cups that are highly dangerous. |

I love their Multigrain Sourdough Bread, Masala Burgers (vegetarian, delicious for anyone), Garlic Naan (frozen), succotash with edamame (frozen), Thai peanut
salad (in the prepared section), hummus and pita chips, etc. All their produce is really well-priced too.

I've discovered this shredded BBQ chicken (precooked, you just have to heat it up) that I'm going to be living off of for awhile.
I've never had good luck with their frozen products. I don't know what the deal is, but the cooking instructions are NEVER accurate. Some stuff takes me twice as long, some takes half the time. I don't get it. (But the chicken & cheese tamales are really good once you get the hang of them. I think the package says 3 minutes in the microwave but it's really about one minute.) |

I recently bought their grilled eggplant and zucchini mix in the frozen section... I put that in a sandwich with their sun-dried tomato spread... sooo good. A
bit greasy because of the olive oil, but still a pretty mean veggie panini.

Their coffee, bread and cheese are the only outstanding things I've come across.

DoesThatSparkle wrote: I'll be honest, it looks gross when you open the tub. It kind of looks like mush, so you'll have to look past that. LOL It's good chicken, too. I'm very picky and I don't like dark meat, but this stuff is all white. You'll see the occasional big chunk, but it's mostly completely shredded. And its really low cal/fat as well. 70 calories and 1 gram of fat per 1/4 cup serving, which is probably even more than I put on a hamburger bun. It actually has zero WW points, too! If you double or triple the serving it only goes up to 1. I think it'd be great on a baked potato, so I'm going to try that, too. |

I hear great things about their honey wheat pizza dough, although I've never purchased it.
They also have these great little molten chocolate cakes (frozen). I don't know the brand name, but they are delicious. |
