CAMPING. This will not go over well, I've already warned him. It was my idea to originally find a cabin, a cottage, or just a little B&B for the
weekend but he's moving and I'm somewhat unemployed again in a couple of week so he suggested camping. I hate to sound all girly-girl and picky but I
am so not an outdoorsy person

I''m a girly-girl to the max, but I LOVE camping. I go at least 3 times every summer. Bring some booze and give it a chance. It might grow on you.

I tried sleeping in a tent once...lol it didnt work out well. I kept thinking i heard bugs so every 2 seconds I was turning on the flash light looking for one.
Then at about 6am we went to Walmart and bought an air mattress, fancy pillows and blankets, tylenol PMs and a fan...lol

I'm not either, honestly. I was supposed to go camping for like a week for the ACL Festival a few years ago and we got to the campground and my friend
pulled out his tent and I was like "No freaking way" and booked myself a room at the Hilton, haha.
But it's not so bad. I got bribed once - they told me if I went camping they would take me on a tour of Britney Spears' hometown (my one roomie lived there and I love me some Britney) so I agreed to go. I just got drunk and wound up having a decent time. 2 days was enough for me though - I couldn't have done more than that. I hate the outdoors - I freak out even sitting on my deck with the bugs. |

The last time I went camping was back in Girl Scouts, about 10 years ago.

I must be weird. We used to go camping at least two weekends a month during the summer and a whole week at the lake when I was a kid/teenager. I miss it. Life
just seemed so much better just being out in nature, hiking or boating....

Never tried it, never wanted to.
Watch Timber Falls before you go! It's about a couple that goes camping by themselves... |
