I just got back from seeing Terminator. I loved it and Christian Bale was amazing.

i saw it last night and I loved it. I'm a big fan of the movies, but T3 did kinda suck, and this one was really good. There were so many good parts and
funny parts as well. CB did a good job I thought... though there were a couple parts where he spoke too fast or too low to hear him.
I also heard, not sure if it's true, that bale signed on for T5 and T6. If it's true, I will definitely go see them. |

I loved it. I was cautiously optimistic going in. I liked #3 unlike a lot of fans and I thought that they'd brought it to a place where it could really
come into it's own if they let it. I was afraid that they'd fall into the same "must save John Conner" plot that the first three were built
on but I liked that we finally get to see John do all this leading that they'd been talking about for so long. I loved hearing Linda Hamilton's
recorded voice and seeing the picture from the first one. I liked some of the references to the earlier films (particularly Kyle's "come with me if
you want to live") but was not a fan of Conner's "I'll be back" Also, why was Bryce Dallas Howard there? In T3 we're told that her
character is Conner's 2nd in command. Here she just tends to the wounded. I think we'll see more of several characters in upcoming films because it
seems like some storylines weren't compeltely developed.
I sort of think of T1 and T3 as glorified B-movies embracing a cheesiness as well as telling a story. T2 and T4 are darker and more grim. T4 is understandably bleak but I'm curious to see what tone they take in the future. I know this movie is taking a lot of hate from die hard Terminator fans, but really it did what I felt it should do: make me eager to see more |

Just got back from seeing it, I had seen the first two, never saw the third (but I did read a detailed synopsis of it the other day just so I would know
anything that might create a gap). I loved it. It had me engaged the entire time, jumped several times, on the edge of my seat. I thought all the actors were
great. I'd probably see it again, if I do...however... I'll be sure to get there earlier than we did so we don't have to sit in the front row.
Being that close with some of the closeups was sometimes a little disconcerting *lol*
