The main hotel is the Belvedere Hotel. Now, I checked rates for 1 person for 4 nights and of course it' alot of money.. now does anyone have any suggestions on booking hotel stays in NYC or can give me some tips. I'm very new to the travel thing and not familar with NYC of course. I just need general help. Thanks in advance.

You can see their own photos theyve taken of the rooms and the hotels and everything, it gives you a good insight...?

They have rooms with bunkbeds.. I think it was about $30/$35 a night, but I can't be positive. I know people who have stayed at this place and they liked it. I went in a couple times and it was pretty clean and everyone was friendly. And it's in a really fun area. Hostel's are a good idea but only if you're comfortable staying in close quarters with total strangers/ are outgoing. And yes, NYC is gross, hot and humid in July but that's what the parks and the floating pool are for!

You do have to be comfortable sharing a room with about 5 other people, though.. but it's really not as bad as it sounds. I freaked out the first time I stayed at one, but I was fine the 2nd night.. it's no big deal.
