When you think about it, make teens are obese these days because they were allowed to eat junk from an early age. I see so many parents taking their kids to
McD's. I guess it is convenient. I wonder if it's really worth it. I think once you introduce them to playland and happy meals from a young age,
they get addicted. Then again, I guess many parents just don't have time to cook healthy meals for their kids at times.

Yes, but not at a regular basis... I mean it's okay once in a while, like once a month, every other month etc. To this day that's all I really eat when
it comes to fast food.

My daughter is 2 1/2 and once in a while I will get her a happy meal from McDonald's. She doesn't ask for it all the time though, normally she just
wants to eat macaroni and cheese.

I used to say no, but eh. I don't know how to cook and I'm very lazy, so these 2 are not a good combination.
I ate fast food as a kid all the time (and still eat it quite a bit) and I'm not obese or unhealthy (I'm not thin, but still). My sister eats it as well and she's one of the skinniest girls in her class and she's healthy as well, so... |

Hell fucking no. My parents never fed it to me. Even when I had volleyball or softball games that night.
I refuse to be lazy when it comes to nutrition. |

No, I never eat fast food and I don't allow my 5 year old daughter too. When she's older, that's obviously her choice but she doesn't even ask
for it now.

My kids get Mcdonalds as a treat. My mom was really bad on being strict on our nutrition. She would not even let us get those frozen tv dinners that wed want
to get for some reason...lol but Macaroni and Cheese probably has the same amount of Sodium and chicken nuggets.

Yeah. I just won't do it as much as my mom did.

Yes, I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it's important to teach them everything in moderation anyway. I guess I believe if you ban things it
just makes them want it more.

Yes, only very rarely. A few times a year may be okay.

I have no intention of having kids, but poor portion control and lack of exercise are far bigger causes of obesity in this country than just fast food in
general.
There's nothing wrong with an occasional Happy Meal here or there for a "normal" active child. There's something wrong with getting a kid a super sized Big Mac meal and then sitting him in front of a TV all day while he eats it and half a carton of Oreos.

lol yes. I ate/eat fast food all the time and I'm not obese. no one in my family is.
Obviously kids need home cooked meals though. |

If I was planning on having kids, they could have it rarely. Other than that, its home cooked, healthy meals.

Yes, I don't see anything wrong with a happy meal every now and then. As long as they are active kids, it wouldn't do any harm.

My kid does. And he's not a picky eater when it comes to home cooked meals. He eats any type of vegetable, and any type of meat. He even loves sushi!
It's always in moderation, people. He's also very active and much prefers to ride bikes and play ball than watch tv. So, I doubt he'd ever get fat.

sure, as a special treat.
but as a warning, to those people who are saying "I ate it and I'm skinny!" remember that your outside appearance doesn't tell the whole story on your inside health! |

If I were to have kids, then on occasion. I had it a lot when I was younger, and I'm not in the greatest shape now, but I wasn't in the greatest shape
when I was younger either. I'd prefer to make them something homemade but if I'm really busy and dead tired then we'd probably make a trip to
McDonalds or BK.
