Does the thing on top read that you have taken so many pictures or that you have that many pictures left? It's been so long I can't remember.
 But
we found one around the house and now no one can remember
oh it's a Kodak if that makes any difference. |

they usually count down, so whatever it says is probably the # of pictures you have left....
