I think a large part is that I am distracted because I went and bought the twilight books so I just want to hurry up and finish it so I can start on them. |

obsesshan wrote:I think Da V is a better book when it comes to the story and mostly the plot. Its more polished and Da V doesnt have an absurd ending. But I liked A&D much better. I hate religion but Im also very interested in it. Especially the stories about history, so i already knew about the priory of Sion. Had seen loads of documentaries about it, so DaV was pretty familiar. |

He looks better in the vid. The screencaps of the vid are really awful.

And Bill does look weird; he should give Tom his hat back.
So we're pretty much all reading/watching A&D, aren't we? I vaguely remember loving Da Vinci code (the book) but I read it so long ago and in English, I don't remember much. As for the movie, I'm not a huge fan of Audrey Tautou, I think she has the charisma of an empty cardbox, so I vaguely remember not liking the movie much, finding it too long and too full of talking. From all this bad memories, I think I prefer A&D; I might go see the movie only to compare the versions, since they are so many differences between the two.

I have a medieval history degree so needless to say every time they stop the movie to explain what is going on I find it a bit frustrating. If anyone is interested in a much better book in the same style I recommend you read "The Last Cato". Excellent book and I can say that I never thought that reading Dante would come in handy after university but it certainly did for that book. I saw the screencaps for the video before actually watching the actual video and just had to give a little head shake. I am sorry but the gray whatever is now holding those horrible dreads is just not a great look. It is a holiday here in Canada so going to enjoy what little sunshine might peak through the clouds today. |

Quotes from the new Bravo:
David Jost: "We already have 17 songs finished - I think in the end we will come to 25 pieces. We have soooo much great material - I do not know how we will get everything." BRAVO-chief Tom Junkersdorf: "Only so much - wow, what a great sound! So much power, so new, so international and unexpectedly different. This has nothing to do with Durch Den Monsun. I am totally surprised at how the band has evolved musically and what they dared!" --- Nothing to do with DDM? International? Unexpectedly different? Im really starting to wonder what direction theyre going with the album.... |

They are going the commercial way, my dear...Don't forget that their album is being produced by The Matrix, known for their works with Christina Aguilera, Busted, Hilary Duff, Avril Lavigne, McFly, Jason Mraz, Shakira, Britney Spears, Skye Sweetnam...so, like I said, I guess they have chosen a more pop/radio approach to make sure their album would be a huge success, especially in the US. If we could only hear one little song...Cinema bizarre was at the Italian TRL thing and they performed one of the songs of their next album. I wish TH would give us something to analyze... |

I have no clue what kind of TH-news there is today btw. Holland is in a state of shock, so my attention was elsewhere! Our nr 1 Society-couple has broken up! And we are all acting here like the world is coming to an end! Its even getting to the point where it is INSANE!
Short recap; One of our famous singers is 24 right now and has been famous since he was 11, when he sang a terrible oldfashioned song about his grandma. Suddenly a few years ago he got sort of trendy (and half-naked ) by singing dutch partysongs and terrible lovesongs and became the nr1 artist in Holland. 2.5 Years ago he got into a
relationship with a famous actress/presenter/woman men like to masturbate on
and were showing constantly how in LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE they were. )Yesterday there were reporters in front of their house (very very Un-dutch!!!), the newsshows (even the serious ones!) commented about it and today
even the prime minister commented on it! Seriously, my country is going insane.
Ok, and now I need to get back to my gossip=shows.

"today even the prime minister commented on it! "
Wow - Canada can be a bit boring in those terms. Then again our Prime Minister is a bit of a white piece of toast and I can't think of anyone that we would get too excited about if they broke up. I am interested in the new sound but also the number of songs being mentioned. 25? Are they then going to widdle down from there? Cause it may be a bit much for Bill to remember two sets of lyrics to 25 songs. I am also hoping that both the English and German versions are available on iTunes Canada. I prefer the German versions just because his voice sounds better and I guess that is what I heard first. |

I would like them to be a bit more open about the new album. Is it already sure that the english and german album will be released on the same day worldwide? I have no clue how they wanna do promotion for that. I always thought the 25 songs were the total of songs, so including the german AND english versions, but since there actually hardly is anything known about the damn album (what is wrong with giving us a title/????) it could also be that there are 50 songs...

Dolle! I bet by the time I finish writing this post, you'll be gone
Your prime minister does look like HP...scary If you're still here....McDo or glass of wine? Both don't go well together (I know, I tried ), so I never mix both. McDo is bad for my health, but if I drink wine
(with something in my fridge, whatever I decide to choose in my already-prepared meal), there is no way I can put stuff in boxes. On the other hand, the
probability of me making boxes tonight are very slim...
