I hated there setup, blah.
Now, I use Blogger, and it is a million times better, than what was offered there. Plus, Blogger is free! I could never have that much space on Geocities , without paying lots of cash. |

They can't do this
  There's still a lot of good sites (of course not updated, but still) that are
left on the internet. Lots of rare stuff, you know? AOL Hometown (or whatever its called) was already shut down recently which breaks the links of most of that
good stuff too.
but yeah, I had tons of crappy sites on those things

For those that were with Geocities: do you remember which category your site fell under? I remember they had different ones you could choose. Mine was under
Hollywood.

My Geocities site was still up; I just checked - and then deleted. I hadn't thought about that in years.
Angelfire had like, the elite *NSYNC sites, at least the ones that weren't their own domain (like nsync.nu). |
