Posts: 33423 (05/16/2009 6:37 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	The All-Star Race's format: • Segment 1 -- 50 laps with a mandatory green-flag pit stop on Lap 25 at which time teams must pit and take four tires. Following the end of Segment 1, the caution flag will be displayed for an optional pit stop. • Segment 2 -- 20 laps with the caution flag displayed at the end of the segment for an optional pit stop. • Segment 3 -- 20 laps with a 10-minute break at the end of the segment. Teams may make normal adjustments to their cars during this break. The finishing order after the third segment determines the final starting positions for the final segment. • Segment 4 -- 10-lap shootout with only green-flag laps counting. Burn out competition was funny. DW breaking all the rules and Kyle going for the wall.

The last few laps were, but most of the race was boring, as usual. Anyone else sick of the car out front always having a big lead and no one can catch up?! Was it like that with the old car? I don't remember.

I wonder if he's claiming Adderall and Claritin-D caused the positive result?

This 100 lap race features one significant change for 2009. Instead of four 25 lap segments the final segment will be just 10 laps in length. With over $1 million on the line for the winner and no points at stake those final ten laps are bound to be crazy as drivers will be going all out for the money.
