maybe there will be a spinoff with Michael's son when he gets older. Michael part 2.
I was scared I wasn't going to like the finale, but even with Michael's death I think the writers made it clear that he at least didn't die for nothing and he's going to leave a legacy with his family, friends, and son. Sometimes happy endings are just too cliche and I think the writers did a good job. At least they didn't kill off Sara, Lincoln, AND Michael like many spoilers were saying. |

unnecessary ending, IMO
i know not everyone here are MiSa fans, but couldn't they at least give Michael a happy ending? |

Sorry. I still kind of liked it; at least Sara has the baby. But... *bawls*

edit: info about the movie: Can we assume that we'll learn more about the ultimate sacrifice Michael made in the two-hour direct-to-DVD prequel movie [due July 28]?
The two-hour movie picks up right after the finale, right?
What's the premise?

Just to post the full interview.
'Prison Break' boss defends tragic twist: 'It IS a happy ending'WARNING: Stop reading if you have not watched the series finale of Prison Break. I mean it. Everyone else, onward and downward... I know. Since Prison Break concluded its four-year run tonight by sending its chiseled protagonist to the big slammer in the sky, you're grieving. You want answers. You want justice. You want someone to pay. Would you settle for answers? 'Cause that's all I've got. But at least there are a lot of 'em, straight from executive producer Matt Olmstead. Read 'em and... oh, I see. You're already weeping. Well, read 'em, anyway. Maybe it'll help. Why'd you have to kill him?!
Michael-Sara fans will argue that they deserved a happy ending after watching these two go to hell and back for four seasons. What would you say to
them?

Seeing Paul Adelstein back as Kellerman was a nice surprise. How'd that come about?
Did you encounter any problems getting ABC to loan him to you since he's now on Private Practice?
Was there anyone you wanted to get back for the and couldn't?
Looking back on the four seasons, anything you would have done differently?

Did Sara and Michael get married?

I cried at the end too, my mom came home and saw me crying and I told her that Michael died (I pointed to Linc and said Mike was his brother) and she was like
"you don't know him, he's not a real person, why are you crying?" and I said it was because it was so sad, he didn't even see his son.
I go on the spoilers and people on TWOP suspected that he would die and when I saw the look that Michael gave Sara and the look she gave him back I knew the rumors were true. It broke my heart that they couldn't live happily ever after. |

I actually love the ending, especially after reading the above article. It makes sense.
Although I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry. |

After 4 years, you get invested into the characters. I definitely cried.

Okay I thought so. Also on the tombstone, it said "Husband." Egh I hate that Michael died.

Sometimes happy endings are just too cliche I agree, but sometime endings where the star dies can be just as cliche. I don't think it was necessary here. Oh, well I guess. |

I think a happy ending would have been better because the characters went through so much dramas and deaths already. Atleast give them and us all something to
smile about.
