I used to be mistaken for italian because I have olive skin but I'm actually just plain old scottish & canadian.

But no. My background is Dutch and Slovak but how can you really tell that? Both my parents are white and I'm white as hell. |

I always think you're Mexican. When I had straight bangs and was in NYC, everyone that was hispanic spoke Spanish to me! It was pretty funny. |

 but damn near everyone thinks im Hispanic. Doesn't bother me at all though. I think its only pissed me off once when some dumb

Yep. I've been asked if I was a Latina or Dominican quite a few times (sometimes in Spanish). I'm Cape Verdean and African American. Not many people
have heard of CVs outside of my area so it doesn't surprise me when people guess incorrectly. A couple months ago this Latino guy asked if I was CV and I
was seiously shocked that he knew.
