People think that I'm Mexican all of the time. It usually comes from Mexicans, too, which is the weirdest part. I'm biracial (black/white) and
don't speak a word of Spanish.
My sister has darker skin and thin, straight hair. People always think she's Indian or Pakistani. |

My pediatrician thought I was Hispanic when I was a little girl.
 He was Hispanic and said I look a lot like his kids.
My paternal grandpa: German and Swiss. My family was part of the Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish, Mennonites, Brethren). He went to teh Church of the Brethren, because that was my ancestor's religion, who came over from Germany. I am attending a Brethren church sunday for the first time to try it out. My paternal grandma: She says German and Irish, but we think she is part French. I think there is some Native American in her, but due to her racist father, we never found out. Also there might be Spanish (from Spain) Jewish ancestry, but I am trying to find that out. My maternal grandpa: Irish and possibly Native American. There is a rumor about his mom being part Native American. She looked like it when she was alive. My maternal grandma: Irish, possibily English, and possibly French. With the rumors of Native American ancestry and the fact that my maternal great-grandma sort of confirmed it when she was alive, I can see why he got confused. Let me add that I am pale, have freckles, and curly hair.

People (mostly other Chinese people
) always ask if I'm mixed or are always saying I look Caucasian. I'm 100% Chinese though. (According to people,
the reason they say that is because I don't have the typical Chinese eyes or something.  )

People always ask if I'm Italian or Spain decent. I'm neither- I'm Cherokee, German, Russian, Prussian, Dutch and Polish. (Mostly Polish and
Cherokee)

All the time. Most of the time people think I'm Korean (because of my eyes) lol. I am 100% Vietnamese.

Yes. I'm actually Irish/English and people think I'm some sort of other nationality because I have almost black hair and a tan. Haha.

I jsut can't picture some of the combos or how some people can mistake what you are with something so
drastically different.
I'm just white. My family lines on my dad's sde come straight from the royal family in England. My grandma's maiden name was Windsor. Then
there is a little Cherokee indian thrown in there.
My mom's side is just English too. I feel so plain with all your cool backgrounds! |

Most likely.
My mom side is Scottish, English and German My dad is a little of everything because of the [British] royal family/blue blood, but mainly English, Scottish, German, Welsh, Irish, Scandinavian and a little Spanish.

I am Hawaiian, Filipino, Chinese, Italian and Austrian... I've gotten Japanese/white, Hawaiian/Japanese/white, Latina, Greek, Armenian, Italian and asian, Hawaiian and white etc. Nobody ever gets it correct. |

People argue with me about it. I really don't know what else to tell them except they can fault me for my family illegally crossing the border from Mexico
to the states back in the day. That usually distracts them enough that they get over it.

People think I have some asian in me. I don't know my full heritage, but I'm sure I don't. I have some white ancestors (a great, great grandfather,
and maybe some others), but, to me, I'm all negro.

I am a weird combination of Italian lol My grandpa is from the part of Italy where they have light hair light eyes and light skin, my grandma is from the part
where they have dark hair dark eyes and dark skin. So I have light skin dark hair and light eyes...lol Every time I say I'm italian people will ask why I
am so pale...lol
