Like, if you'd ask him, ''Are you wearing a blue shirt?'' when he IS wearing one, he would say; ''No, I'm not! It's green!''? Or, does he only lie about relationship things, or his job, schooling, etc?

For example he had a friend over, he told me that it wasn't his friend, it was his sister's boyfriend. His sister didn't know him. After I caught him in the lie he said he lied because he "found God" which had nothing to do with it and didn't make any sense. According to his mom she has witnessed him lying to me but she doesn't point it out because she says that's what he wants and that it s just a way to get assurance that he's "scum". or something. Most of the lies he's told me doesn't mean anything, it could be like the shirt deal. I'm not explaining it anymore. I just don't know what to do, I'm gonna feel like such a jerk for breaking up with him.
