she even said in an interview after the oscars (or golden globes?) when everyone was talking about her speech that her husband had no choice but to be ok with
it, that the relationship she has with leo started way before her and sam met so sam knew from the start that it was there.

I'm no DiCaprio fan, but he seems to value friendship a lot (more so than romantic relationships lol). Hasn't he also been friends with Tobey Maguire
since they were kids? Seems like he's not the flaky kind who switches friends every 5 years.
