If you had the opportunity to work from home would you?

No. I work at home most Fridays and there's no way that I would do it all week.

I do, and it's great. I can do what I want, when I want (outside of work) and work in my spare time around my kids and other activities. The downside is
the whole 'in my pajamas all day' thing, and also the interaction, but I have other activities to make up for that loss. The other downside is that it
really is a 24/7 thing...EVERYONE in my company works from home, and it is not unlikely to get a Skype call or IM ding at 3 am. The benefits really outweigh
anything bad though.

Yes I would. My commute is dreadful (2 hours each way). I don't think I'd want to work at home every day though. If I could split and be in the office
2 or 3 days and at home the rest I'd be thrilled.
My job actually discussed having us do this briefly, but it got shot down. |

My friend works from home a day or two a week depending on her deadlines, and she loves that. If I could have that kind of schedule, I'd be happy. But 5
days at home? No. I'd get very antsy.

Right now I work at home 1 day a week and I love it. I don't think I would be able to do it everyday but a day or two a week would be perfect for me.
Get to sleep in a little later, don't have to worry about the commute, or dealing with crazy co-workers. |

I did it for a while, but I prefer working with people and I'd rather have someplace to go to.

I work at home..... I love it. I hated being an employee and now I have the freedom I have always wanted. The downside is that I work probably twice as many
hours, but if I want to take a vacation or a day off or go to the beach at noon on a Wednesday, I can plan that into my day/week. I am a real estate agent so I
get out of the house a lot too so that part of not having people to talk to is like slim to none. Sometimes I wish people would leave me alone

I would love to do it, no long commute, no rude customers/patients, etc.

No, I don't think I would be as productive and I like being at work and around co-workers.
