When I used to live in Minneapolis, housing was really expensive, so people in their 30s and 40s were getting roommates. I don't think it's a question
of age, but of economic circumstances.

I don't really think there is "too old" necessarily but I could see how it's possible to become less patient having others in your personal
space as you get older. I already hate having roommates as it is, I definitely couldn't imagine doing it for the rest of my life.

You can't be too old to have a roommate. It's probably a lot harder to find a random roommate the older you get as people get married and some just
want their own space as they get older but I see no reason why people can't live with whoever they want. Why should anyone have to live alone if they
don't want to?

When rent is high, people roommate.... and some people do not like living alone. |

^^ i wouldnt necessarily say supposed to be... but i thought it was alot better than bein with your parents personally, but they then went on to say whoever
feels they need a roommate after a certain age(22 i guess
) minus well
stay at home until they can afford their own place because there isnt really that much of a difference between the two. Im like what ??

Whenever your bank account says so, IMO. I personally don't like roommates, but I've always had to sacrifice by paying more to live alone.

By "supposed to" I meant if at any time, that's typically when.

I'm one of those people that doesn't like to live alone - been there, done that, hated it. I also currently hate my current roomie so it's not
working out too well for me! I'll probably have a roomie until I find a nice boyfriend to live with and marry.

I'm 25 and live in NYC so everyone has roommates! I could see being 40+ looking for a roommate but I think you would have to be looking for people of the same age group, otherwise your fresh out of college
roommate situation could be both annoying and awkward
