How bad does it hurt? I'm thinking about getting my first tattoo but I am such a weenie when it comes to pain, so I'm scared.
 I wanna get it on
the inside of my ankle. How bad would it hurt?

It hurts, but it's totally bearable there. On the outside bone, it hurt me like hell, but when he did the back and inside I was literally nodding off.

How big is your tattoo going to be? I have two ankle tattoos, one goes all the way around my ankle and the other is on the inside. The one on the inside is
very small and didn't hurt at all.

It'd be pretty small, too. But, of course, big enough to be noticeable. And gahhh...I'm glad I don't want it on the outside, then.

I have one on the inside of my left ankle and the tattoo artist was surprised that I didn't seem bothered when I was getting it. He said it's a
"hot spot" for pain.

It's all bone, if it's your first one, get something fleshy done, like a hip.. arm, bone like the botton of the back are the worst

My artist put one 1 inch line on my back to begin the design, I made him stop, and I was about to walk out with a permanent looking marker line on my back, and
say f it,my mamma convinced me to go back in there, and a 14 yr old girl who whad 4 let me cling to her..

i have one on the outside of each ankle. they didnt hurt at all. but everyone has different tolerances.

I don't have one on my ankle, but I have one that is over a bone and it hurt like hell when they were over it.

Mine are all on thin-skinned areas (including my ankle) and didn't really hurt. Mostly like a bee-sting, so you should be fine!
