I once met somebody whom I kinda liked, but when he started about how he supports Israeli settlement politics and how he thinks Pinochet was in fact a great politician who done lots of good for his country... it was a big turn-off.

My political views stem from my philosophy, and I could not spend my life with someone who had fundamentally different values. For some things of less importance to me, a political difference could easily be overlooked.
