Yesterday I could barely move, today is maybe a little bit better that is it. Anyone know of any remedies for this? I am miserable.

Ice, Advil, and a chiropractor.
Whatever you do though, don't just lie around waiting for it to get better. Staying motionless will make it worse. |

It's absolutely horrible. I have been walking around or at least trying to. This sucks. Thank you.

I dealt with that problem for months and then got refered to a Neurosurgeon. I ended up having a spinal fusion 3 weeks ago today.
I know when they thought it was just the sciatic nerve, they told me to stretch a lot and not to stop moving. The longer you are motionless the worse it does get. Ice on your back, or wherever it is pinched, is one of the best reliefts. Also take tylenol because it does better with the nerves than any NSAIDS will. |

I actually have been looking online, and noticed there are some "Exercises" you can do. I did those a few times to the best of my ability, but I
think it's time for some tylenol or something. I am pregnant so I am pretty sure the only thing I can take is tylenol. Boo.
This has been happening to me for the past few years. It comes and goes. Sometimes it doesn't come back for months. When it does come though, it cripples me and I can barely move.

I'm pregnant as well and my sciatic nerve is also killing me! My doctor just told me to stretch as much as possible (safely of course). Also I found that a
heating pad for short periods of time helps a bit.
If you can visit a chiropractor or massage therapist it helps. my cousin is a massage therapist who works for a chiropractor (bonus) and they've helped a bit (I've only been a few times, but it felt so much better afterwards) |

go to a Chiropractic doctor! I'm not pregnant but I messed up my sciatic nerve by picking up a box the wrong way and my back was in pain for a little over
a year. I went to a Chiropractic doctor and it was the best thing that I've ever done. I was afraid to go to a normal chiropractor because I didn't
want anyone trying to crack my neck or my back. Chiropractic doctors use this tool that just simply pushes things back into place.
He fixed my jaw, so it no longer pops. I no longer have headaches, my lower back and sciatic nerve no longer bother me. I no longer get stomach aches. My neck doesn't hurt after i've been reading anymore and he fixed a bunch of other stuff! do it! |
