Does anyone have a favorite technique when applying? I am using it for the first time and didn't know if there was a special kind of brush I should use (I
have several mac)or if fingers were better for it?

I prefer fingers, the warmth of your hands helps it spread better and you use less than if you use a brush

I actually prefer the MAC 217 brush for paints/paint pots. It helps apply the product evenly without applying too much.
For the lighter coloured paints/paint pots I'll apply from lid to browbone, but coloured ones just in the shape of the shadow. |

I generally just use my fingers, but make sure that they are clean and you only need a little dab, i generally take it just above the crease.

thanks for the tips! I have never tried any undereye base or highlighter so I was curious about that.
