Something is wrong with me. I just don't give a fuck because I feel like in the end, a degree is suppose to get me a degree and my gpa doesn't matter.
This is like the complete opposite of how I was when I was back at a comm. college. I'm doing bad in school too. IDK. I think I picked the wrong major.
I've also just had a bad year all around, after transferring to a univ.

Thats a fine attitude to have, all sarcasm aside, because in the longrun Cs get degrees. Dont put your GPA on your resume, as most normal people who didnt get
a 4.0 do, and youll be fine postcollege.
However if youre trying to go to gradschool, all of this apathy allstar talk will kick you in the fucking face when you graduate lol. I think a lot of people go through a burn out phase. Hang in there! |

I am so over Uni, it's been 5 long years. But for some reason I am super excited for my 2 year college program. I guess because it's a) short and b) a
program about something I actually want to make a career of!

Oh hale naw. I'm not trying to go to grad school. Mostly because I will be graduating late anyway, and I've had enough of school.

The sad part is, it's not like I'm working, I'm just going through hell in school.

I kind of have a similar attitude. It's not like I completely don't care-I do all the work, pay attention in class, but I'm not going to stress
myself out over a class.
Also I LOVE during finals week every single person is freaking the fuck out, studying, pulling all nighters and crap. For me, I know if I paid attention in class and review my notes I'll be fine. If I didn't pay attention in class, and did no work then there's no way I am going to learn all the material in a couple days. |

JtzCrunkster81 wrote: Well then youre fine-- as long as you dont change your mind and try to get your PHd in a couple of years and think... wait my gpa was what now?? Do the best you can in your classes and just try to live a little. You have to get a job once youre out so you might as well enjoy yourself. One of my o-chem professors was a nobel laureate and he always use to joke, "I dont know why you guys are so worried about your grades. I got a C in ochem too!" hah. |

I felt the same and didn't care much about getting a high GPA, as long as I graduate then I'll be fine. Now that I've graduated and still jobless,
I'm debating about going back to school to get my MBA.....but since my GPA isn't all that high, I think it will be difficult for me to get accepted
into a decent graduate program. Ugh! But yeah, hang in there! Try to suck it up for a semester or two and do your best!

I'm SO done. I'm working on my thesis and I don't even care about this stuff anymore. I'm just ready to get my Master's and get the fuck
out of school and out of this town. I'm pretty burnt out. I got good grades, I impressed my professors, but it's time to end it. I don't care to be
in school anymore.

I'm at that point, too. This semester I've gotten a better idea of what I want to do and it won't have much to do with my degree. That's
probably a big part of it.

I have always liked school because it is the only thing I really excel in. However, I did have moments of becoming burned out and wondering if there is more.

How old are you? You might feel you don't want to go to grad school at age 20, but when you are 30 or 35 it might be necessary to have a Masters to advane
in your field.
Always try your hardest. Don't short change yourself! |
