Miami accents are like...people who speak regular English trying to emulate the Hispanic accent that people who speak Spanish have when they speak English.
Does that make sense?

I lived in Colorado for most of my life which I've heard has the least accent of any state. So I have pretty much "no accent" - or speak like a
newscaster I guess.

People always seem to know I am from Long Island so I guess I have that accent . Maybe it's the speed-talking.
I notice the difference between how I talk and how Pennsylvanian's talk or
people from upstate NY, they sound different too. It's slight, but some words really stick out.

People say I sound like I come from California...I'm from Chicago. In high school people said I sounded like I came from London and California..that's
crazy to me.

Saying aye is no indication of my accent! You should hear a proper Scottish accent never mind a strong Glasgow one - those even I dont understand and I've
lived here 21 years

I'm pissed. I now have a slight southern accent. My California non-accent is tainted. Boo.
