I've been unemployed since January and I've even gone on 3 interviews but I STILL don't have a fucking job (even though they told me they liked me
in the interviews). Maybe they are waiting for the summer to start up. I dunno. But I'm fucking bored and I need money.

Have you tried applying for a part-time job/maybe low-paying job just to give yourself something to do and have a little income coming in? I was laid off and
am graduating next month, but instead of waiting to try to find what I want to be my "career job", I applied for part-time jobs. I got one within a
month and I just got a second job as well. It's not much, but it's hours and money.

I've even considered picking up a night job, but my parents wont let me. They dont understand the extent of my brokeness, but if they did
theyd regulate me and i cant really have that right now.

Man, I'm sorry
Even retail is turning you down? I know a lot of people who work in retail and at restaurants (waiting/hosting/bartending) as second jobs
even though they have degrees and fulltime career jobs. Maybe companies are just being more picky about who they hire now though since the economy is so bad.
I hope things pick up for you all

Me too! I got laid off in early December and I am tired of being broke! Ugh, I really need a job. I'll take pretty much anything at this point.

I think the problem for a lot of us is how bad the economy is and how most folks will "take anything". Employers must be swamped with applications.
It's probably just the luck of the draw.

I just accepted a job offer a few weeks ago in my field (it doesn't start until the 13th of May). I was out of a job since June. It sucked so bad. All I
can say is hang in there. Keep yourself busy and positive (it is hard, but you gotta). I think what helped me was being positive and following up with people.
