She says:" I won't it killed to many people" "They bribed people to get it approved" " I wont get it until its been out for ten years" "They cant prove why 1300 women died after getting it" sent me this site: http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=55844 Who here has received the vaccine? What do you know about it?

HPV is serious shit and an alarming rate of men have it (well carry it b/c they cant get it) and even if it's the man you marry- you can wind up with cancer. That risk is too much for me an I chose to get the shot instead

It's been accepted worldwide, not just by one country/health organisation, so they can't possibly bribe every country. And it's been approved in Europe where a lot of countries are a lot stricter then the US when it comes to vaccine/medicine. So you have that extra security. I'm in France, and here the government is offering free vaccination to all girls between 14 and 23, (that's millions of vaccines every year)so you can bet that they truly believe in it and haven't been bribed. 2) While yes some people have died taking it, there are deaths and second effects in every treatment and vaccine. And so far the death/second effects vs life ratio is in the norm. Nothing alarming. I think we're having great medical advances here. We have a vaccine against one of the deadliest forms of cancer known to women, it's a great discovery/opportunity. Ultimately it's up to you to decide, if it makes you feel better wait a year or two before getting it.

Exactly. I tried explaining this on here a while back, but someone (I think it was Moral) got up in arms about how I was an idiot and didn't know what I was talking about. I did their PR when I was in NY. What were some of the long term effects that keep you guys from getting it?

They had something like 10 month clinical trials for Phase III which is not nearly enough time to pick out risks.

I dealt with HPV to the point I had to have surgery to remove part of my cervix due to the pre-cancerous cells that ended up being pretty deep. There are costs and benefits to each vaccine and no one really knows how they'll react to them. The only thing I'll say is that most people don't even know they have HPV and guys especially have zero clue. As a result, a girl can be a virgin on her wedding night and still have to deal with HPV, irregular pap smears and possible cancer. So given the costs/benefits, my daughter and I chose for her to have it. Do your own research and then make your decision.
