Uhmm. It was like any other shot for me. A slight pinch and maybe a little tenderness for that day, but it didn't swell, bruise, or hurt at all the next
day.
Is a tetanus shot really THAT bad?

Last month I stepped full force onto an old rusty nail and it went really deep into my foot. Needless to say, I went in and got a tetanus shot the next day.
The actual shot itself I didn't even feel. But about a day later my arm started hurting like a bish, just like the nurse said it would. I couldn't even
lift it all the way up. It hurt really bad for probably about 4 days. It was nowhere near the worst pain I've felt in my life (honestly not even close),
but the pain is pretty substantial. It's just a really nagging, annoying, sore type of pain.

I definitely hurts more than most shots and you arms swells a lot, but it's not that bad.

The shot itself was no problem for me, but it left a painful bump on my arm for more than six weeks.

The shot itself didn't hurt, but my arm was sore for a few days afterwards. The needle goes right into your muscle so it feels like a pulled muscle.
It's nowhere near the worst pain of your life though.

So funny, I just got one yesterday. It didn't hurt, but then last night it hurt like a motherfucker and felt like I had a 50lb cement block dropped on it.

It hurts worse than other shots but it's not too bad. It's definitely sore afterwards, but it's tolerable. I completely agree with the person that
said the Gardasil was way worse. That thing hurt so bad--I could feel it burning as it went in my arm.

I ended up giving up and used my other arm and kind of threw it over my body

The actual shot doesn't really hurt that much - it just stings like normal. The aftermath is what hurts. About an hour after the shot your arm will ache
like you worked out too hard on that side or something. For me that pain continued for about a week.
Nothing that you can't handle or anything - just an annoying pain. |

The shot wasn't bad. Your arm is just sore afterwards. I got like 3 shots the same day. I couldn't tell the difference between them. They felt the
same.
The only shot that remotely hurt at all when I got it was the gardasil. |

It's just a shot. I hate needles but I can get through it. Your arm is definitely more sore for a few days than other shots but it's not like

I had to get the tetanus shot after an accident and I didn't feel a thing. I was really nervous because I was expecting something huge and it ended up
being nothing.
I'm usually a big cry baby when it comes to shots and I usually feel them 5x worse than everybody else. |

I actually didn't feel the shot go in at all. The next day though my arm hurt like a mother... could barely lift it. I also had 2 other vaccines though and
so it could have been caused by those as well.
