Yah Edward's way too extra in Eclipse, his reasons are justifiable though, you can probably deduce that from what you've read.
He cares about her a lot, he just goes about it in a different way that I find to be irritating. I'm halfway through BD, I'm still on Team Jacob...so far. |

I'm getting through Eclipse in record speed.
 I usually take my time with books, I like to save them for when I'm in bed or whatever but I read
like 100 pages on my commute today! lol
I'm on pg 255 so far and I see that Edward is TRYING not to be a douche but he really lost me @ having Alice kidnap her for the weekend! I wish something would hurry up and fucking eat Bella's stupid ass. |

See now, my reaction was different. I HATE Bella. I think she is the worst protagonist ever! She is such a bad example for young girls. She is so damn needy
and pathetic and clingy and fickle. Wait until you get to the end of Eclipse...I got so pissed off throughout the whole book but the end threw me over the
edge.
All she does is mope around like "boo hoo life is meaningless without Edward". Then she totally changes her tune. I mean I am all for missing the one you love and being upset when he's gone, but she like..can't fucntion as a human being without him and that is such a bad thing! Edward is controlling kind of, but I really wish he would have just sucked her and Jacob both dry by the end of that book.
