The other day I saw Observe and Report and about 5 minutes in, a man and woman walk in with their 3-year-old and baby! And of course they sit in front of me
and I'm getting riled up because this movie is extremely violent and fucked up. So I made it a point to laugh harder and more annoying than I would've
to bother them. They ended up leaving 20 minutes later, probably not because of me but who knows. I was relieved. You know take your kids to see Hannah
Montana, and if you can't find a babysitter, don't bring your young children to that.

I've seen worse. I was seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I remember seeing young kids there with their parents. They were around 9 or 10 I think.

It's still the principle. The baby's first word is going to be fuck now.

What time was it? I know around here some places won't let babies in after a certain time. It's mainly on weekends and something like 8 or 9.

Yeah but they were paying customers. I thought you were going to say the kids started crying and disrupting everyone. I can see you trying to get them to leave
for that reason. But I don't think it's appropriate to try and get them to leave because you don't think they should be there.

This is why I wait for DVD. I don't know how my kids would react, but there is nothing that I want to go see that is also appropriate for my 4 year old.

I saw movies inappropriate for my age at times and I didn't go around saying cuss words or beating up people or anything like that. Neither did my brother.
Our parents let us see them and they went with us or we'd watch it when they rented it.
So I don't see the big deal. You teach your kids right and they won't be influenced by all that crap and all the jokes that are way over their head at the time. |

I felt the same during Tropic Thunder. People in there with kids and I'm just like....uh, can I be there when your kid asks another kid if he can suck his
dick for crack on the playground?

It was a little after 5. I also thought they could've been theater hopping since they came late and left 20 minutes later, but I just don't think I
could do a successful theater hop with two children in tow.

My best friend let her son watch Jeepers Creepers when he was 4. Like, as his daytime video.

Never bring babies to the movies. If you want to go to the movies, get a damn sitter.

When I saw Friday the 13th there was some ghetto ass woman with her 3 kids, all under age 6. Not only was it a scary, gory, sex filled movie, but it was at the
11pm showing too. If you can't get a babysitter, stay the fuck home, bitch!

I know some parents who will take their kid(s) to matinees of movies that the parents want to see, knowing that it's the same time as naptime for their
kids. The cool movie theater and the dark room knocks their kids out and the kids fall asleep before the previews are up, and wake up 2 hours later when the
movie is over.
Props to them! Quiet kids *and* they get to watch a grown up movie. |

By the way, that was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Ugh.
