Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, South Beach Diet, etc.
Which ones have you guys tried and which ones have worked for you? Also, are they expensive?

I did a modified version of the South Beach diet and lost 40 pounds. Sometimes it got expensive because I was eating a lot of fish etc, but there's a lot
variety that you can choose from. Good luck!

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about Weight Watchers. I don't know too many details about the program, though.

Medifast is best if you have to lose a lot of weight but it's not a life long eating plan.

It a very extreme program where you eat about 800 calories a day. It's recommened by doctors for obese peopple. I lost about 140lbs in 8mths. IMO, it's
one of the best diet programs out there.

I lost 20 pounds last year, and didn't really go on a specific diet. I just ate healthy and exercised regularly. Now I'm on my way to lose my last 10,
and I've got 7 and a half more pounds to lose. What I use is the LiveStrong (By The Daily Plate) app on my iPhone to watch my calorie intake and such. And
its pretty much worked for me. Last January I started out at like 149, and Sunday I weighed 127.5.

I feel like all other or at least most diet programs are so restrictive. On WW you can eat what you want but you learn how to watch your portions and make
better decisions on choosing what to eat.

The only program that really worked for all my friends is Weight Watchers. Everything else was just a waste of time, money and usually not healthy.

The only "diet" that works is burning more calories than you consume, so the only diet program that actually works is the one that you will stick to.

lance is purralicious wrote: That's the thing. I have terrible self-discipline. I just love food. I need new recipes, new ideas, motivation, a lifestyle change, etc. That's why I'm looking for a program, rather than just a fad diets. Sometimes I take diet pills but most of them are a waste of money...and I don't have a lot of money to waste.
