Probably because in every way they are legally a woman. It's hard to wrap your head around. I still haven't done it. That's the same question I
kept asking.

HAhahha, most guys are SO not comfortable with that. I think that's why most Trans people date others who have gone through the same thing.

I just can't see a completely straight man being okay with the fact he is still technically sleeping with a man, or someone who used to be a man.

It's not really that black and white, if she's had the surgery, she's 100% a woman. She he could be REALLY straight, there's NO part of her
that he can see and relate to a male, except for dna, which he can't see.

Thats true, he said that when they met although she didn't have the surgery yet she was always a women in his eyes. So you are right about that.

You figure, not of all us look at what's on the side, they look at their heart. (To get all lifetime).
Personally, I don't know if I could be in a relationship with a Trans person, post or pre op. |

I don't think I could be with a women turned into a man either. I don't know why...I just don't think I could get over it. How shallow of me.

A guy who's actually gay wouldn't be interested in someone with a vagina, genetic or artificial. It's just that a guy who'd be willing to
accept a MTF would have to be open-minded about it, which to some folks, would mean "at least part gay."
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil has a great peek at that whole thing. Chablis wasn't even interested in getting the operation, but her boyfriend thought she was a woman, and then after he found out she wasn't, was still into her, regardless. |

They started dating before he had his surgery, so he still had a vagina. They never did ANYTHING sexual because he let his husband know he was no attracted to
that part of him and the husband was all "NO SHIT!"

I know of two male to female trans ... who both have female partners now after the change. The one I know better was actually married to a woman while she was
still a male, but things just didn't work out between them.
