I really loved Olivia Williams' character getting a lot of screentime. From what it looks like, Echo's new handler might not be around long... maybe Ballard coming in is not an April Fools joke.

I like how there's more character development, you start to connect more with the characters. I really like De Witt a lot more now. Mellie and Ballard would have made great couple..too bad.

And also, when Dominic was captured he said he was the reason Ballard hadn't found the Dollhouse yet - but wasn't that his purpose by being the source from inside sending Ballard information through Echo and Mellie? That doesn't make sense.

When you saw her leaving the room after the sent Dom to the attic she started crying which then lead into the scene where she was crying to Victor. Then later on she said the thing about needing something then not needing it anymore and being able to go on, i don't really remember what she said but it showed her looking at him. She needed him for companion ship. I think that POSSIBLY his personality was a lot like Dominics. That maybe she felt more for him than just a partner but could never act on it so she had Victor implanted and then when she got his mind erased it was too hard to go on.

They were sleeping one scene then the next she was crying. Of course, I was JJB'ing while watching and you really have to pay attention to the details of this show. Thanks, ShaZamY.

Like others have said, I think she felt more for Dominic than she let on (also the doctor said something about it and she denied it. Also, at the very beginning of the episode she gives him a look when he's coming to her office that seemed almost like she was fond of him/had feelings for him). So when she found out that it was Dominic who was the spy and who had lied she was devastated. When she says the lonely hearts engagement for Victor was over, it's b/c she realized it was all just artificial and fake just like her relationship with Dominic. (all based on lies) so she sort of gave up on the idea of finding someone to share her life with and sees what she did as a silly and naive (to use Dominic's word) delusion (just like her feelings for Dominic).

Fox are doing what they've done to other shows like Firefly--put them on a bad night and do everything possible to screw it over from the start. Why bother greenlighting a show only to not give a shit about it and make sure it succeeds? Fox is one of the worst networks. All they care about is reality shows, 24, Bones and House. Joss Whedon has given the network some great material but then gets screwed over. Fox needs a new slogan--"If you want quality TV, go somewhere else, because we don't have it."

I think FOX gets a lot of crap because they are edgier than other shows. All showrunners get shit on. Running a show for a company that is paying YOUR salary is hard when you created it. My roommate works for a TV show that get NO support. She was stunned at how much production Dollhouse had. I was also stunned. Get this and we both work for FOX. Go fig.
