I posted an ad on Craigslist saying I wanted to help a family in need who needed Easter Baskets for their kids who couldn't afford them. I'm going to do a candy bag for the 15 year old because he just wanted his siblings age 10(boy) and 7(girl) to get something for Easter and not him.  for the little boy

I have a 7 year old boy! What about little Transformers, Bakugan toys, books, candy, a DVD, art supplies (crayons, markers, stickers are really inexpensive!)?
That's the kind of stuff my son would like.
I'm not too experienced with little girls. Maybe some little Lip Smacker lip balms, books, some acccessories like bracelets or a necklace? |

My parents would always put little toys in our baskets with the candy. I can remember on different years getting a slinky, these tops that lit up when you spin
them, and a Cadbury stuffed animal that made the "bok bok bok" sound when you squeezed his foot.
I'm in my early 20s now and still remember a lot of them so it goes to show how much they made an impression on me at the time.

And get the older kid a gift card to a store or iTunes or something! That's awesome that he's concerned about the little kids. And good for you for
doing this. I love it when people do this kind of thing.

We always got sidewalk chalk, bubbles and a movie. My mom still gives us a DVD in our baskets

The art supplies was a good suggestion. This is the time in the school year where most kids are bringing in new supplies like Crayons and markers. Also those
Bakugons (sp?) are really popular with elementary kids.

Hit up the Dollar Tree! They have puzzles, books, coloring books, all sorts of art supplies, Easter candy and my kids love the Speedracer cars.

The girl has a coloring book, High School Musical jump rope, High School Musical crayons, candy dispenser that comes with a key chain, key chain notebook,
stickers, lipgloss, little jewelry box, headband, and candy.
The boys has stickers, a coloring book, crayons,colored pencils, dry earse board, candy dispenser that comes with key chain, pencils, and lots of candy. |
