I just realized if I name her Lottie or Louisa her initials would be LBC.

Here's my concern with Charlotte, though. It's steadily increasing in popularity! I'm worried that in two years it's going to be #35 or #20 and
then li'l Tadpole's going to have five other girls in her class named Charlotte.

I hear that but I love Charlotte so much though! I like Annabelle, too. That's my niece's name.

Ew, those names are all awful! They sound old and stuffy.

I vote for Mavis, Minnie, or Charlotte.
And I wouldn't worry about Charlotte being so popular that she has several girls by the same name in her classes - so long as it isn't in the top 10-20, I think you are safe. I have a top 200 name (at my birth time anyways - now it is more popular) and I never once had another person with the same name in any of my classes or even met anyone else with the same name. |

I vote for:
Loretta Jane or Audrey June I have a thing with being able to abbreviate names into intials, and "LJ" and "AJ" both sound cool. I can imagine a little girl in
pigtail braids playing t-ball or something.

I also like Clara! Earlier when I read your list I was on my BB and thought it was Ciara.

I like Charlotte. I also really like the names Sophia, Clementine and Penelope. Cicile is cute, I had a friend with an older sister named Cicilee (pron.
Sicily) and it seemed so exotic.
What about a blend of both families? I didn't give it much thought but Sarina and Lorelle came to mind, and my name is Marybeth so I can't help but throw that one out there.

The most popular names in the country at the moment are Isabella, Ava, Sophia, etc., so "old and stuffy" isn't really a concern of mine.
MTAW, she moved to Chicago! But she still has a house there, if you're looking to buy. Please! |
