I'm starting a new job soon, its a desk job which is way differant than my current active job. I've been wanting to work out and loose weight for a long time but my current job drains me too much to do so. Anyway, since I should have the energy after sitting in front of a computer all day- I want to join a gym and get into a proper workout routine. I know theres a LA Fitness and a 24 Hour Fitness on the way home. Theres probubly some more though... Do any of yall know if one has any perks or anything over the other?
Which gym? LA Fitness or 24 Hour Fitness?

I think you should visit both gyms, then make a decision. Gyms are different from a neighborhood to another. Where I am, one 24 Hour fitness is in disgustingly
old building, and has few treadmills/elliptical machines, and practically no weights. Other 24 Hour fitness is slightly bigger, but doesn't have many
equipments either. LA Fitness here is pretty big, has tons of cardio and weights. They are very clean, and has a pool, too. So I joined LA Fitness.
I always see crazy deals on 24 Hour fitness membership from Costco. |

I go to 24 Hour Fitness and love it. It's huge and clean. Friendly staff too, but as the other poster said I recommend you check them both out because they
are different from city to city.

24 Hour is cheaper, especially when it comes to their starter fees. Also, it's open 24/7 so you can schedule your gym time around what's flexible for
you.

Definitely check them both out in person. Also consider which location will be more convenient for you. I found it very convenient to go to a gym that was
located right across the street from my work, so I could just walk over RIGHT after finishing work for the day, and get my workout done.
