We go to KI every summer for one weekend with my in laws. My husband says his friend wants us to go with them to CP this summer with his family. With me not working we can only do one. I've never been to CP but I've been told their rollercoasters are better. But we will be taking our three kids and their two kids and I know that KI is more kid friendly. Who's been to both that can help me with the decision.

How old are the kids? CP does have better roller coasters.

CP is pretty kid-friendly nowadays too but I agree KI is a little better for little kids - how old are the kids you'll be going with?
CP has a lot more roller coasters - and much better ones. |

They range from 5 to 11. I don't know if their two daughters are into coasters. My son i(11) s the only one of mine who will ride a few.

I changed my mind. KI is more family-friendly. CP is trying to get there, but still way focused on thrill rides.

I don't recall CP as having that big of a children's area. KI's is much bigger and better.
I personally prefer CP for the coasters (Millenium Force is pretty much my fave coaster ever), but live closer to KI so I'm there more often. But both are awesome parks in their own way.

I like Kings Island more, I am a wimp and there is more I can ride there, and its closer for me. I don't think CP Kids area can even compare to KI.
