This is totally random and OT but I went to a film festival screening last night for a movie called (500) Days of Summer and I think if you get a chance to see
it, you all should. It was a Romantic Comedy that was sort of the anti-romantic comedy. Totally lovely and brilliant.

I dunno... I enjoyed it. I'm not going to say it was their best episode or anything, but it worked. Although, I do quite agree that it was a tad
ill-placed. Dean sure recovered quickly.
And is it just me, or did we see a little bit of the OLD Sammy this episode? I know he wasn't "him" or whatever, but he seemed so much more like himself than what we've been seeing lately. *shrugs* |

Wow, there are a ton of comments here! I love the little discussions we have! I only have one more thing to add and then I'll squash the whole debate. The
idea of the writers making us frustrated with Sam, but from reading interviews, it seems like they were trying to present both sides of the coin, Sam flirting
with the dark side and how it was understandable, and Dean staying the straight and narrow and us understanding that too. But we haven't really see
Sam's side of the coin, whether it be purposeful or the power of Jensen Ackles, we may never know.
And you guys are right, the earlier seasons were more about Sam, but they were more balanced, especially in Season 2. There were Sam eps, and Dean eps and then eps about both brothers. I just think this is completely one-sided. But don't for a second think I don't hate Dean. I love Dean, he's one of the most dynamic characters on television and Jensen is a fucking genius...but I love Sammy too...and I miss him. END SCENE! Can't wait for the pretty next week. This ep seems awesome! |
