I went from being way too skinny to being normal sized when my kids dad and I separated and her and my sisters would say all kinds of rude shit. And I was the
skinniest one out of all of them.

Not in that way, but my mom tries to keep feeding me when I see her b/c she wants me to gain a little but more weight.

I don't think ANYONE should comment on anyones weight, whether it be family or friends or even a SO. Weight can be a touchy subject for most and no one
wants to hear the negative aspect of it.
I remember when I lost about 20 lbs when I moved away from home....I was in a new environment, living on my own and wasn't having the whole italian feast. I ate what I could afford to buy and I was busy working and being in school. My mom would freak out every time she saw me about how I was too skinny and "disgusting" when I was really only 120 lbs (at 5'7"). Now I'm up a bit and she makes comments about gaining weight and my wedding. As if I need MORE stress

my dad knows im on weight watchers & every once in a while if im wearing something new he will say "you can tell your losing weight"

My parents never comment on my weight but other parents do. My friends and my BF's parents always tell me that I'm too thin and need to eat more, blah,
blah, blah.

Well one of my grandmas called me fat
 (right after I'd lost a lot of weight)
but the rest of my family always says something after i've lost a few pounds. Saying I look great |

after my mom died and I gained weight back, my dad looked at me and said "I was so proud of you when you lost all that weight" and something else.
that just about killed me.

I remember when my dad mentioned it when I ballooned 20 pounds. It was one of the most hurtful things he'd ever said to me ... I was devastated.

I think they made comments when I lost weight but they don't really comment when I gain. Once I told my mom I felt like I'd gained a bunch of weight
recently and she said she didn't notice. I don't know if she was just trying to be nice or what

Not really. Although oddly enough, my boss of all people got all motherly and asked me if I'd lost weight recently, soon after I came back from being sick
all week.
