If I sit/lay down too long with my legs bent, when I stand up or straighten my legs, the pain is excruciating. I hope there's nothing wrong.

I have the same thing. I think it's called Runner's Knee. It definitely hurts more when I'm working out more. Sometimes I have to sleep with it
propped up and straight out, so it doesn't bend.

Yup. It doesn't worry me though since I busted my knees when I was a kid a few times plus I play sports.

Yeah I have that all the time except I feel the pain while they're bent and straightening them relieves it. My knees grind all the time, too.

I take Aleve for headaches, and it's never helped my knees.

That sometimes happens to me when I get out of shape and start working out again. Aleve usually works though. You haven't had a knee injury before?

No injury. This has been going on for about 8 years.

That's how mine felt when I had a torn meniscus. But I had surgery and it's fine now.
