anti-gun ideology." The paper notes that $2 million has been diverted from training for the program, and that approval of new pilots has "stalled

Eh. It's the Washington Times. They are as conservative of a publication as you can get. And even if he is ending it, maybe he is doing it because he plans
on putting more air marshals on flights. He is putting more cops on our streets. Maybe he is going to do the same thing in the air.

That's a hilariously inflammatory (and unsigned!) editorial.
Apparently, the program isn't ending. $2 million dollars will be diverted from the training program to hire field supervisors to inspect the pilots who are already armed (yay job creation?). There are less pilots applying to the program so there will be less trainers needed. My favorite comment: The Obama wants us to get attacked. So he can officially Surrender to the Jihad. Plain and simply. Love the crazies. |
