Alex Meraz, of the Purepecha (Tarasco) First Nation of Michoacan, Mexico was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. There he taught at schools and community centers throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area in all aspects of art from mask-making to break dance. As a graduate of the New School for the Arts, Alex has since further developed as a multi-faceted performer and artist. For 12 years Alex studied mixed martial arts, winning numerous tournaments in karate and capoeira, which led him to train with Andy Cheng as a stuntman. Highly sought after in the indigenous dance world, Alex has worked as a lead dancer with renowned choreographers Raoul Trujillo, Rulan Tangen, and Santee Smith, to name a few. Among his many accomplishments, he is also a founding member of Dancing Earth, directed by Rulan Tangen. His notoriety with Dancing Earth earned him the honor of being hand-picked for a troupe selected to represent the U.S. in a performance for the Royal Jordanian family in Amman, Jordan. With a vast range of talents, Alex's skill in acting and the performing arts has allowed him to work alongside Colin Farrell, Christian Bale, and Director Terrence Malick. Maybe, instead of after-hours guitar jams, they're going to start a New Moon fight club with Taylor and Alex-that I would love to see! Is One of the Members of the Wolf Pack Oliver James? We're convinced that the guy seen today in red on the set of New Moon is actor Oliver James. What do you guys think? The two pics on the left are from today, the four on the right are of Oliver James. Oliver James has previously been in What a Girl Wants and Raise Your Voice. His hair, eyebrows, nose and dimpled chin are very similar. I think he looks more like Oliver James than Bronson Pelletier, which is who I originally thought it might be. Although I would love it to be Oliver James I'm thinking it's Bronson Pelletier. Oliver's british he doesn't have any native american in him!

But I do agree, Rob has been alone alot, we dont see him much with the cast. I truly hope Kristen and Ashley become closer now with New moon, she is always with Nikki, and Nikki doesnt even have a big part in the book.

She was with mike before twilight but i agree with you guys...something is definitely off between rob & kstew. Rob seems to be alone all the time I wish he'd hung out with Jackson & Ashley. Here is the cast list for the wolf pack in New Moon: Taylor Lautner: Jacob Black Chaske Spencer: Sam Uley Tyson Houseman: Quil Ateara Alex Meraz: Paul Kiowa Gordon: Embry Call Bronson Pelletier: Jared Tinsel Korey: Emily We don't have confirmation on the ones in bold yet, so take it as rumor till further confirmed. We confirmed Tyson Houseman and Alex Meraz for sure earlier, and Bronson Pelletier seems to be confirmed. Tinsel Korey has previous acting experience in film, but Kiowa Gordon seems to be a virtual unknown. From what I can find, he's an 18 year old high school student that lives in Cave Creek, AZ (where Stephenie Meyer lives, coincidentally). This is great news from Lainey Gossip

WTF has happened to Jackson's hair? I think Rachelle is beautiful (and I'm not saying that because she's from my hometown), if I was gay, I would totally be into her. My son and I used to watch Warewolf on campus (or whatever it was called in English), and when I showed him Rachelle's pic, he said she had changed a lot for the better, he wouldn't have recognized her if I had not told him who she was. And I think he drooled on my keyboard a little bit

He is probably just a method type actor ya know. Or maybe they just dont need him, or he could be needed somewhere else . :Shrug. People keep getting their panties in wad because he isnt with them. I mean it could for a reason, also to allow kristen and taylor to connect more. Lol. I mean Rob is only really needed for the fist part of the movie and than the last part in italy which isnt even being shot till may ish. Than there is the factor that if they do something to keep his presence there when he's suppose to be gone that can be done on a sound studio stage somewhere else where he doesnt need to be with them. Not trying to sound mean but people chillaxe, it will be fine.

And for this movie it certainly is. I have noticed the lack of interaction between him and KStew though
