I finished in December, my resume is extremely well-written, I have great sample work, and I can't even come across a job interview let alone a job. I am
currently doing a job, I swear a 10year old could do. Now what?

Sometimes it can be a waste. It depends on what you're going to school for.

Work your way up in the company you currently work for.

I currently work for a very large hospital system, there is no money in working there unless you work in the clinical aspect of healthcare. I've actually
gotten letters stating I am overqualified for jobs.

Patience is something I clearly don't have. I worked full time and part time, went to grad school full time, managed a 4.0 and I have nothing to show for
it.

spinning your wheels in frustration won't be productive, though.
maybe it's time to start checking more distant job prospects. |

1) The economy is a huge part of the problem. It took me two months to find a job after graduating (in a good economy) with a master's degree and over a
year to find a job directly in my field.
2) Getting a job out of grad school is often harder than getting a job out of grad school er, EDIT, undergrad. Despite having an advanced degree, you still have to set your sights low and work your way up. Right out of grad school, your advanced degree typically isn't going to get you anything more than just having a bachelor's would. 3) Be frank and honest with employers and state that you do not think you are overqualified, you do not expect to earn more simply because you have a master's, that you are willing to work your way up, that you recognize that you are still basically just starting out, etc. 4) There is really no such thing as "overqualified". When you have a master's degree "overqualified" more often than not means an employer doesn't want to deal with you wanting more money, more responsibility, being too big for your britches, and leaving within a few months if they hire you.

I dont expect to earn more with a masters. I just want a freaking job that at least requires a college degree. I don't want more money I want experience.
