There is like one/two pictures of Jon out and one of them is totally a picture of him with fans. Its hardly proof he is out all over young girls or something. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if pretty much any two people in the world got a divorce let alone people with a lot of stress over raising 8 kids.

I hope she doesn't brainwash the kids and have them think he's this horrible person. I know he'll pay child support, he loves those kids and will support them whatever way he can. I wonder if she's gonna milk him for alimony though. I wonder what they'll do for income when the contract ends. I wonder who the kids are going to stay with? I'm assuming they'll have joint custody of the kids. On a side note, I really like the show and I'm sad to see it end. So, I guess this means that Kate's going to give back the puppies huh?

I understand frustration with kids, believe me I do, but sometimes it really annoys me how he seems to get so easily fed up with his kids. He yells at them more than Kate does and he can be physical as well. He grabs/yanks them (usually by their arms) pretty hard a lot and that time he grabbed the stick out of Leah's hand and broke it in half, I honestly thought he was going to hit her with it for a second and obviously Leah did too by the way she reacted. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't control his temper very much when cameras aren't around.

Maybe people started rumors about it just being John since he is the one who likes to snowboard and the outdoors. The article also said he and Cara use it a lot (or more often) because they are the ones that snowboard/ski. People really hate this family so I wouldn't be surprised if people are twisting things around. But, you never know. I also don't understand this whole child support thing people always bring up when it's being discussed why John wouldn't divorce Kate. Just because he's a guy doesn't mean he automatically has to pay child support over Kate. Neither of them are the main "breadwinner," they essentially have a business together - equal parts. If anything it would seem like Kate would be the one having to pay child support because it seems like she would do more of the public appearances, speaking gigs, books, etc. (meaning SHE would be bringing in more money, thus having to pay John). John just goes along for the ride...

I think he handles himself just fine. Based on the show though, it seems he and Kate get along really well. They get fed up and bicker sometimes, but during the interviews just with Jon and Kate he makes fun of her a lot. I dunno, I don't really see them separating. But what the hell do I know...

It was cute in the beginning but to have it go on for this long is ridiculous. Also if the rumors are true, well then that sucks for the children. Way to bring in all those beautiful babies into the world and then not only use them for an income, but also break apart the family.

Posts: 23157 (03/11/2009 7:02 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Friend Block Invite Ignore	i personally like both of them too. i think you need a mom like kate with that many kids---the structure anyway. i mean, some things she does might be overboard, but thats just her personality. and, unlike octomom who already had like 6 kids and then did fertility treatments to have more kids....john and kate only had 2 kids, so they didnt really ask for 6 more....so i am happy that now they are well known and receive extra help for all those kids
