I can feel ya! It feels good. I do not use my credit card unless I know I can pay the balance each month I never want to run it up as high as I had it once.

It wasn't a really fun way to spend $ ____, but I'm not a slave to my credit card/loans anymore!

Yes congrats, it is the best feeling in the world, I will be debt free in 2 weeks! No more using credit cards, I will be using cash!

Awesome! How much did you have on credit cards and how long did it take to pay it back?
I remember I charged almost $4000 on one of my credit cards. It felt so good to finally be done with it! |

It took me 4 years, it was a consolidation loan, I was laid off at the time so i racked up debt even w/ collecting unemployment was not enough. It was $2,500,
the small payments took too long , so paid off a little more(started in December), If I didn't make that transition it would have been paid off in Dec
2010!

You did a consolidation loan on $2500? Doesn't that poorly affect you credit?
